We love working with natural materials, open-ended and multi-use pieces, and  ethically made and sourced products.

Working together, I can prepare guest posts for your blog or host sponsored blog posts here at Building With Rainbows.  I can make photo, stop-motion, or video content for your Instagram feed, or I can host reviews of your products on tthis blog or on Instagram.

Are you interested?  I would love to get in touch.

Guest Blogs

For Modern Rascals (Toronto) I have written a range of blogs with instructions for building marble runs and information about parts to use for Marble runs.

This blog, written originally for Oskars’ Wooden Ark (Adelaide), is a step-by-step guide to building a more complex marble run using Grimms Wooden Toys blocks.

Instagram

The Building with Rainbows Instagram account is  focused on toys:  reviews, comparisons, play, and ball runs.  I’d be excited to build photo, stop-motion, or video content for your Instagram feed.  We can also look at opportunities for sponsored content on my feed or in my stories.

I love working with makers and shops who care deeply about their product and its impact on the world.

Are you ready for the holidays, or looking for some ideas? And here are some of the some of the pieces that were new to our family, or that the kids were particularly drawn to this year

At first glance, the Bauspiel Giant Rainbow looks familiar and perhaps similar to other sets, but on closer inspection, the size and proportions reveal that really it plays more like a remarkable set of blocks than the typical rainbow stacker.

Each year as earth day rolls around the kids and I talk about changes we can make to live more responsibly. Sometimes it means using less of things, sometimes using different things, sometimes it means looking for ways to use things longer, and other times it means making new choices next time you shop. Here are a few of our favorites.
